It’s never enough and it’s never going to be enough..... like NEVER !! 😂 All joking a side, having round perky glutes does play a huge role in aesthetics but, have you ever thought about why a nice set of Buns is important for your health, for performance and longevity?
Strong glutes improve posture.
Our new sedentary lifestyle (sitting way too much all day long) can lead to weak or “sleepy” glutes, weak upper back muscles and tight or shortened hip flexors. Other symptoms of weak or inactive glutes include: low back pain, knee pain, weak ankles and sore feet.
Strong and pronounced glutes will do a lot more for you than just improve your looks.
Interestingly enough, most people decide to start working their glutes to improve their looks and for no other reason. If chasing a good-looking booty gets you to work on your glute strength, I say, “go for it !” 😆
Here's some advice on how to strengthen your Glutes and get the booty you really want.
I hate to break it to you but, the band walks and booty kickbacks you've been doing every week won’t cut it. Why, because you're leaving out a very large part of the butt's muscle group. The truth is, you need to train every function of your gluteal complex which means you need to train hip extension, hip abduction, external rotation, and single leg balance and stability.
Because your glutes are made up of both fast and slow twitch fibers, they should be trained using a combination of both high and low rep ranges, slow and fast tempos, and isometric holds. You may not know what all of these terms mean or how to implement the right exercises into your routine to get "Buns & Strength" but, if you need some advice or my help to aesthetically improve your gluts and more importantly their functionality, consider booking a FREE in person consultation....
The aging process often slows down and limits a person’s activities and their health and strength takes a toll.
